Premier Bank held workshop on Management of Non-Performing Loans and Recovery Strategy at its Training Institution 14th Floor, Iqbal Centre on Thursday, 09 July, 2009. Mr. Kazi Abdul Mazid, Director of the Premier Bank Limited spoke in the workshop as Chief Guest. While Mr. M Shah Alam Sarwar, Managing Director of the bank presided over the workshop. Mr. A.T.M Nasir Uddin, The Executive Director from Bangladesh was present on the workshop as guest speaker. The Additional Managing Directors Mr. Abu Haniff Khan and Mr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman and Head of HRD Mr. Bishnu Pada Malaker were also present on the occasion.

Director of the Bank Mr. Kazi Abdul Mazid in his speech said that there are people who do not know what they do not know; such people need guidance and teaching. He emphasized on good and careful processing of loan proposals and also to make serious and sincere efforts for recovery of non-performing loans. He advised the executives and officers of the bank to take lesson from the workshop. Mr. ATM Nasiruddin (ED, Bangladesh Bank) and Managing Director M Shah Alam Sarwar also spoke on the occasion.
