22nd branch of Premier Bank opens at Bhairab Bazar, Kishorgonj
Committed to ensure personalized & diversified services nationwide The Premier Bank Ltd. has opened a new branch at Bhairab Bazar, Kishorgonj. Now the total number of branches of the bank stands at 22. To mark the occasion an inaugural ceremony was held at the Branch premises where former Minister & Member of Parliament Mr. Zillur Rahman was present as Chief Guest. Chairman of the Bank Dr. H. B. M. Iqbal attended the ceremony as Special Guest. Opening the branch recently, Mr. Zillur Rahman thanked Dr. H. B. M. Iqbal, the Chairman for his outstanding contribution to the development of banking sector in the country. He said “ Bhairab Bazar is one of the important places in the vicinity of the Capital. He expressed his happiness over opening a branch of Premier Bank at the business hub”. He opined that private commercial banks especially Premier Bank have been playing an important role in the national economy. Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of the bank Dr. Iqbal pointed out that Premier Bank has been continuously improving its credibility in banking sector by playing personalized & diversified role comparing with other banks. Underscoring the gravity of SME in national economy the Chairman urged the Manager & his sub-ordinates to bank with an impulse & deep regard for Bhairab Bazar as a stronghold of clustering small & medium industries. He ended his speech with an inspiring note that the bank is planning to employ some meritorious local youths at Brairab Bazar Br. as a part of Bank’ commitment to downsize growing unemployment in the economy under the banner of Human Resources Development. Abu Haniff Khan, Managing Director of the bank remarked “The bank has introduced many customers -friendly savings and credit schemes for the benefit of the clients.” He added that in a bid to dispel the difference between time & place Premier Bank has introduced a pair of most sophisticated products viz. Premier SMS & Premier CMS. Another easy & luxury product called Debit Card is topping the list of Bank’s New Year surprise for its customers, he disclosed. A good number of dignitaries, business persons, clients & well-wishers accompanied by a group of Executives/Officials of the Bank were present on the auspicious moment. The bank is well set to open another new Branch at the heartland of Chittagong with its official name O R Nizam Road Br., Chaittagong within a couple of days.
