Premier Bank participates in US Trade Show’ 2007
Held from February 14 – 16, 2007 at Hotel Sheraton, the US Trade Show’ 2007 organized by American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) drew enormous response from business enthusiasts ranging from students to entrepreneurs. With a view to displaying its personalized and diversified products The Premier bank Ltd set up a well furnished booth at the fair. On the opening day on his way to visiting the fair after the inauguration, Hon'ble Finance & Commerce Advisor of the Caretaker Government Dr. A B Mirza Md. Azizul Islam paid a visit to Premier Bank display unit (Booth no. 80) where he was accorded reception by the Managing Director of the Bank Mr.Abu Haniff Khan. The advisor was followed by Her Excellency Patricia A Butenis, US Ambassador to Bangladesh,her first ever visit in any Premier Bank display unit. While interacting with the media the Managing Director reiterated Bank’s commitment towards diversifying banking products through state-of-the-art technology. He remarked “After PREMIER SMS & CMS Premier Bank is going to launch Debit Card shortly. The product will make customers feel easy with e-banking rather than traditional practices.” Among others Head of Card Division Mr.Moyen Uddin Ahmed, EVP accompanied by midlevel officials/officers was also present on the occasion. As per media report (Channel-i ATN & so forth) a good number of curious crowd flocked to Premier Bank stall at the fair to have a brief knowledge of the Bank’s products. Impressed onlookers showed much attention for Lease Finance, IPO prospectus & share application form. The 3 day-long show came to an end on February 16, 2007 in the evening.
