Premier Bank holds workshop on ' Preparation & Reporting of SBS 1 & 2 and Clearing House Procedure'
A workshop on “Preparation & Reporting of SBS 1 & 2 and Clearing House Procedure" was held on July 12, 2007 at the Training Institute of The Premier Bank Limited, HO, Banani, Dhaka. Abu Haniff Khan, Managing Director of the Bank inaugurated the workshop as Chief Guest while Addl. Managing Director Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Consultant Kazi Anwarul Mahbub, Head of Credit Division Shahadat Hossain & Board Secretary Syed Ahsan Habib were also present on the occasion. Head of Deptt. Of Statistics of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Abdul Malek Mia graced the occasion as Special Guest. While speaking as Chief Guest Managing Director pointed out that the officers working in banks must know the techniques of reporting Scheduled Banks’ Statistics (SBS) that indicate data based key indicators to ensure high return on their assets. Proper reporting in this regard contributes hugely to higher CAMEL rating of a bank, he added. He called upon the participants to take care in handing the issues in branches.
