Mr. A K Abdul Mubin former secretary of the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh very recently joined The Premier Bank Ltd. as chief of Research and Development Division.

After completing his Masters in Economics from the University of Dhaka in the year 1968 he pursued his PHD in Development Economics from Glasgow, UK. He received Training in abroad on various matters in World Bank, IMF, and Federal Reserve Systems and on other various subjects from various countries. He is life member of Bangladesh Economic Association and Bangla Academy.

While serving the Government of Bangladesh Mr. Mubin was Chairman, Turnover Taz Commission, Secretary, Jamuna Bridge Division, Executive Director, Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Authority, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Finance Division and was also responsible for other important Division of different Ministries. He was also the Managing Director of presently defunct Bangladesh Shilpa Bank. He was the Director of many organization including Bangladesh Krishi Bank, ICB, SEC, BASIC Bank, Security Printing Corporation etc.

Mr. Mubin also served various international organizations as Consultant. Once he was posted in Ghana, South Africa. He has a host of research publications on Economics and other related subjects. Premier Bank will be flourished under the able leadership of Mr. Mubin.
